Hans-Peter Feldmann’s $100,000 artwork is worth it literally

Now that’s what I call $100,000 artwork that is worth its title. After bagging $100,000 for his support and contributions to the world of contemporary art as the Biennal Hugo Boss prize, 70-year old Hans-Peter Feldmann decided to pump in every bit of the funds he earned in his latest installation at the Guggenheim Foundation, New York quite literally. Taken from out-of-circulation currency, the installation sports 100,000 $1 notes neatly pinned. The installation that took almost 13 days to set up will be up until November 2, 2011. This will be one safe and guarded exhibit for sure!
