Harrods brings Orkney’s limited edition Highland Park 50 year old for £10,500

If you claim to be a whiskey aficionado, then you had better make it a point to visit Harrods, London before the end of October. Why? Because Orkney’s mythic distillery is releasing their oldest and most prestigious dram, christened the Highland Park 50-year-old, which will be available exclusively from Harrods till the end of October. The Highland Park 50-year-old is a vatting of five refill oak casks distilled in 1960. The single malt appeals to the whiskey enthusiast with its natural mahogany color, rich and spicy tannins, and muscovado sugar flavors. This fine malt resides in a 70cl bottle designed specially by renowned jewelry designer Maeve Gillies of MaeVona, New York. The exquisite bottle is handcrafted from sterling silver.
