Hennessy Cognac celebrates 50 years of Jamaica’s independence with Limited Edition bottle

The Jamaican Islands celebrate 50 years of freedom, and they have some help from Moët Hennessy Group, makers of the famous Hennessy Cognac. The brand has launched Hennessy VS Limited Edition bottle in the country starting today, via the official distributor of the Hennessy brand, J. Wray and Nephew Limited. The limited edition malt is reportedly true to Jamaican taste buds, and the distributers will also running a bartender competition to discover special Jamaica 50 official cocktails.

This included four regional heats that let mixers and bartenders across the country showcase their mixing skills. Winners from all the regional heats finally battled it out for the official Hennessy Mixologist title, off which the official Hennessy Jamaica 50 cocktail were on offer at the Grand Finals conducted in the 24th of April.
