In-flight mobile phone calls to be allowed on Emirates Air

The compulsive mobile user has another reason to rejoice. As we all know that airlines do not allow the use of mobile phones in-flight because their signals interfere with the aircrafts systems. But Emirates Air is breaking away from this norm and is embracing in-flight mobile phone calls. This will please most mobile users, but sure enough there will be those who will crib about this too. The airline has entered into a partnership with Aeromobile, which will set rates and also offer 777 services. Those rates are supposed to be expensive yet less than what you would pay to use the onboard satellite phones found on many planes. However, the pilots and cabin crew can control access to mobile signals, thus keeping a track on the users too.
