One does not have to take the pains to decide between the two when a brilliant travel book published by Louis Vuitton in collaboration with Editions Xavier Barral has just released. The travel book named World Tour constitutes a journey around the world in twenty-one stopovers with 1,000 hotel labels from the collection compiled by Gaston-Louis Vuitton- grandson of Louis Vuitton. He has put together a unique collection of 3,000 hotel labels that were witness to the wonderful journeys travelled by the owners.
The World Book contains compiles over a 1,000 labels from this wonderful collection. Francisca Matteoli, a great traveler and author has given a detailed interpretation of each hotel label, revealing long-lost stories, memories and the time gone by. The book inscribing 21 stop-overs will be available in September in Louis Vuitton stores. The World Book is presented in a limited edition boxed set containing a map of the world and a notebook with 11 self-adhesive hotel labels. It is priced at $100 and is available in English, French and Japanese versions.
