The two iconic departmental stores of the US, Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s now set their eyes on Abu Dhabi. The Al Maryah Central, a new extension of the Galleria will house these two giants with both stores occupying 4 storeys and over 200,000 square feet of retail space. This will be Macy’s first international location and Bloomindale’s second, the first being Dubai in 2010.
With these 2 stores will come American fashion and trends though being sensitive to local customs and preferences. With designer goods, luxury labels and their high levels of service these stores are gearing up to take Abu Dhabi by storm.
