Man finds rare comics worth $3.5 million in his closet

Talk about finding a treasure. While some men have to spend hours scrounging the depths of the sea to hit the jack pot, others like Michael Rorrer need to just open their closet. Yes, Michael found the books in his aunt’s basement closet after she passed away and believe it or not this stash of 345 comic books earned him a cool $3.5 million.

In the collection were some of the most prized publications that dated back to 1938! The collection which was sold at an auction included the debut of Batman, which fetched $523,000, and the first appearance of Superman, which fetched $299,000. Now this is called being lucky.
