We have a newcomer at the courts this year. Set to start next month, the US Open will have a new sponsor in Moët & Chandon. The champagne maker will sponsor an on-site suite at the tennis competition, which will be held in Queens, New York. The sponsored luxury suite will be used for a good cause. Celebrities stopping by the suite will sign the champagne bottles marked with the US Open logo, and these will later be auctioned off. The money raised through their “Cheers for the Champions” charitable program will benefit the United States Tennis Association Serves, which raises money for children with disabilities. Along with the suite, Moët & Chandon will sponsor all the champagne. With the US Open sponsorship, the luxury champagne brand hopes to attract the rich and the famous attendees’ attention.
