Retail travel opens its arms to Baron Otard’s extremely rare Cognac in history

If you miss a good cognac or are not too good with your spirit collection, Bacardi Global Travel Retail Division has come to your rescue. They have launched what they call the “rarest ever Baron Otard Cognac,” named the Fortis et Fidelis. These elite blends feature what is touted as some of the rarest and aged Eaux-de-vie from the personal haven of Baron Otard Cognac named Château de Cognac, which has been with the cognac mogul since 1795.

The cognac has flavors of plum with hints of walnut, smooth spices that include nutmeg; a dash orange finished with the scent of leather. The limited-edition cognac sold in hand made crystal carafe decanters designed by Cristallerie Royale de Saint-Louis, and Christophe Pillet would be sold at $4,500 each.
