Romain Jerome commemorates Buzz Aldrin’s moon landing anniversary with the MoonFighter pen

Maybe it’s the effect of the Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy book that I have finally started reading or my fascination for all things “out of this world” that I was immediately attracted to the latest offering from Romain Jerome. To commemorate Buzz Aldrin’s moon landing, Romain Jerome have created a unique goofy looking pen christened the MoonFighter. Although they missed the anniversary date, Romain Jerome has decided to go ahead and unveil this pen now. Made of “moon dust” and silver along with tiny bits of the Apollo II, like moon-dust poutine, this must-have collector’s piece is truly a class apart. The curved, streamlined barrel of the MoonFighter is studded with 48 hand-fixed rivets. Looking super cool courtesy of its forward-jutting profile with toothed plates like the ventilation apertures on an aircraft fuselage, this pen appeals to you with its design.

The cap is fitted with three small blades, engraved with RJ’s initials, and tipped with a titanium point, providing the MoonFighter with an airy feel. A beautiful instrument to write will surely take your imagination to new heights or, should I say, galaxies!
The Moon Fighter is a limited creation restricted to 888 pieces of each version available in three versions, Black Metal, Vintage, and Heavy Metal.
