Well, toy heaven has a new address and it’s found its way into London! Harrods has opened doors to its new Toy Kingdom which spans over 26,000 square feet. The breath-taking store has it all – an enchanted forest, intergalactic science lab, curious sweet emporium, a reading room, an epic fair and toy ‘grand canyon’. Apart from that, you get access to these six 4D adventure setups that have been described as follows:
At the “Big Top” you can witness circus acts complete with magicians and jugglers, fancy dress costumes, doll houses, rocking horses, candy floss, and soft toys.
Then there is the candy store that takes you to sinfully curious chocolate counters and leads you to Papa Bubble, who will make candy concoctions to order.
The Enchanted Forest, as the name suggests will take you to a magic world of fairies whispering from tree trunks, the latest collections from Sylvanian Families and Flutter Fairies, alongside arts and crafts.
The Wonderland is dubbed as a colorful ‘Grand Canyon’ of Harrods that will give you access to Hornby train sets, remote-controlled helicopters, and Scalextric.
Then there is the Odyssey, “a gigantic space rocket crashes through the floor, and a huge sun bursts through the wall in front of an Area 51-inspired space and gadget zone, complete with alien space pods and limited-edition pieces”.

And for the quiet book lovers, the Reading Room offers an amazing array of children’s stories where all you need to do is climb into a special cubby hole and hear extracts, “have fun with electronic gaming pods,” or ever “explore the world of Harry Potter.”
