A luxury stuffed toy company called Steiff is set to create a limited edition Pikachu toy which will retail for 45,000 yen (US$365). Production of the premium toy is limited to 1000 pieces.
Measuring 280mm (11in) in height, the handmade toy will feature trademark yellow fur made out of ultra-soft mohair. Talk about your luxe toys!
True blue Pokémon afficianados can pre order their cuddly Pikachu from the GoodSmile company website right now. The adorable toys will be shipped out in February.
In February, the toy will also become available at Pokémon Center stores, the official Pokémon website and Amazon Japan, but with only 1000 pieces produced, these huggable balls of softness are likely to sell out before you can say “Gotta Catch ‘Em All!”
