While the fashionistas ogled over the stunning red carpet beauties who graced the occasion at this year’s Academy Awards, doggy lovers could not help but spot Uggy, the Jack Russell who made his mark at this gala ceremony. The Jack Russel who starred in The Artist has by now millions of fans and managed to steal quite a few hearts with just one wag of his tail. But as you know, in the end, it’s the luxe appeal that we look for, and boy was our mutt spot-on on that factor. Not one to disappoint, Uggy came to the awards ceremony in his luxurious best. Yes, the mutt came on stage wearing a beautiful 18-carat gold bone bowtie. No ordinary collar this, the unique bowtie was crafted by none other than the artistic director of Chopard, Caroline Scheufele.
Now that’s what we call dressing smart. Following the trend of his two legged starry friends, the mutt will have his collar auctioned soon. Yes, the collar is scheduled to be auctioned soon to benefit the Amanda Foundation, a Los Angeles-based animal rescue group. Uggy, a rescue dog himself, will surely be happy with this auction.
