Ben & Jerry’s sets out to please furry friends with delectable new dog treats

There’s no joy comparable to devouring a tub of Ben and Jerry’s Belgium dark chocolate ice-cream on a gloomy (or otherwise) night! And in extending the same happiness to the four-legged, the ice-cream brand has recently unveiled non-dairy frozen treats that are perfect to satiate your pet’s taste buds.

Called ‘Doggie Desserts’, the tasty treats include ice cream-like concoctions available in two flavors: Pontch’s Mix which features peanut butter with pretzel swirls, and Rosie’s Batch which is a combination of pumpkin and mini cookies. They are made using dog-friendly ingredients including a sunflower-butter base, along with conventional elements such as sugar, coconut oil, and wheat flour.

Commenting on the new variants, Lindsay Bumps, a Ben & Jerry’s Global Marketing Specialist, said, “We know our fans love their dogs and treat them like family,” she further added, “We created this product line so pups can enjoy something even better than belly rubs. Doggie Desserts are the sweetest treat they’ll ever put their paws on.”
