Known for their incredibly comfortable luxury mattresses, Savoir has now created a new dog bed that benefits two charities and also offers you a chance to pamper our pet. The classic dog bed shape gets a new look thanks to a new tartan wool textile upholstery. Impressively, the techniques used to create these luxe pooch beds are the same as the ones Savoir uses to create full sized beds.
The tartan upholstery fabric is called ‘Greyfriars’ tartan and is created by the Grassmarket Community Project, an organisation that teaches skills to homeless people. 20% of the proceeds from sales benefit the Grassmarket Community Project as well as another non-profit called Restoration of Appearance and Function Trust (RAFT) that conducts medical research to help people cope with trauma and life changing injuries.
