We’re used to having our favorite food and some specialty wine delivered to our hotel rooms in the name of hospitality. However, notching it up a level is this uber-luxe hotel in Denver that now transports little puppies and some quality Prosecco to your room as part of their special package deal. Yes, you read that right! In celebrating national dog day, the Kimpton Hotel Monaco will run the limited period offer – called the Puppy and Prosecco package for each of the luxury rooms on its premises.
As part of the deal, guests can enjoy an hour-long private pupper party to commemorate the National Dog day in style. The extravagant affair will include six to 10 dogs, sparkling wine, and Italian cicchettis (snacks) delivered to your room along with a puppy expert on hand to join in on the fun and answer’ questions about puppy health and care. Those interested can also rescue any of the adoptable furry friends they encounter during the event through the Lifeline Puppy Rescue.
Commenting on the one-of-its-kind service, Chris Guse, general manager of Hotel Monaco Denver said, At Hotel Monaco, we are always looking for advanced elements of comfort and feelings of home for our guests,” He further added, “With that approach, puppies have naturally been incorporated into our evening wine hour program. The joy this activation has generated for everyone involved made it apparent we needed to take the concept to another level but in a more intimate setting.” The Puppy and Prosecco package will be available from August 23-26 for a price of $1262 per night (inclusive of the stay at the luxury suite).
