The city of Miami is getting a lot of big brand buildings pretty soon! We already know that the city is set to become home to residential towers designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and Missoni, but now another major player is joining the ranks. Auto giant Aston Martin has also announced a new residential tower which will take a spot at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way. Aston Martin residences will the product of a partnership between the well-known sports car manufacturer and the Coto family of Argentina. This is Aston Martin’s first foray into real estate.
The building will be a sail-shaped 66-story, 390-unit high-rise with Revuelta Architecture and Bodas Mian Anger as the main architects. The building will naturally boast a number of amenities including two private lobbies, a two-story fitness center with a spa, an infinity pool on the 55th floor, a screening room, a British club, and a yacht marina. Residences will range from one to four-bedroom units as well as seven penthouses and a duplex penthouse with private pools and terraces.
The interior spaces will be handled by Aston Martin’s design team with Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman taking the helm. Units will be available for purchase from November itself, however, the building won’t actually open until 2021.
The location will offer amazing ocean views and no doubt the view on the inside will be flawless too, especially given what we know about Aston Martin’s dedication to high design and a signature aesthetic. Miami will never be New York, but it’s shaping up to have a pretty cool personality of its own!
