Du Parc Kempinski: Switzerland’s most expensive property

There is no stopping the rise in global real estate prices. The recent news on this upward trend in the real estate market comes from one of my favorite holiday destinations, Switzerland. Touted to be one of Switzerland’s most exclusive properties, Du Parc Kempinski has caught our attention as it is currently the most expensive property in Switzerland. The exclusive residential building is built in partnership with international luxury hotel group Kempinski. Du Parc Kempinski is a private residential building comprising of twenty-one apartments and three penthouses. The apartments will vary from two-bedroom 200 square meters units to six-bedroom 690 square meters options. For all pricey homes, a two-bedroom apartment in this building will cost approximately CHF 4.7 million ($4.4 million), while prices for the penthouses range from 19 – 24 million CHF ($18 – $22 million). The building was previously home to the 1906 Hotel Du Parc and is now being renovated into one of the most exquisite residential complexes.

Located in the Swiss-French Riviera, the property offers a stunning view of the Alps and Lake Geneva surrounded by vineyard terraces part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The plush residential building is expected to be ready by 2011.
Italian fashion house Fendi Casa has been appointed to develop all interiors and furniture for the suites, while the famous interior design firm BBG-BGM has been roped into fashion Du Parc suites in styles varying from Classic to Modern. The three penthouses are sure to be the stars of this property. Mariani, specializing in bespoke furnishings, will be in charge of decorating these amazing penthouses in gold and crystal designs.
Those residing in these luxurious residences will be treated to luxurious amenities and facilities like lifetime membership at nearby Lavaux Golf Course, 10-year membership at the Mirador Kempinski Country Club, and membership at elite Quintessentially concierge services in five international cities.
