You’d never expect Gucci to do the ordinary! And the same is reflected in its former headquarters in London. The palatial property (to say the least) served as the marquee’s office from 1998 to 2010 and is now on sale! Here’s all you need to know about it:

A fashion address like no other:
Spanning approximately 14,000 sq. ft, the mega-mansion was formerly known as the London home of Lord Chancellor Lord Brougham. It was originally built in 1769-1772 by Edward Gray and was designed in Neo-classical style by architect Sir Robert Taylor with gold leaf interiors by renowned plasterer Joseph Rose and cabinetmaker John Mayhew.

The mansion has been extensively refurbished under the oversight of architects Donald Insall Associates and is currently owned through a trust. At present, it boasts eight total bedrooms—four “VIP bedroom suites” and four staff bedrooms—as well as extensive entertaining spaces including an entrance hall and four reception rooms.

Décor that oozes class:
The home’s décor features classical design details including elaborate molding, original Georgian fireplaces, 20-foot ceilings, parquet floors, and high windows. It also houses modern amenities including an elevator, a gym, and a home theater as well as a full spa complex with a swimming pool, a marble-lined plunge pool, a steam room, and a sauna.

And if that’s not all, the luxe house also has several options for outdoor entertaining, with a garden terrace, multiple first-floor balconies, and a “sunroom/conservatory” on the upper level. On the other hand, the ground level houses two staterooms with high ceilings and full-length windows.

What the listing agents have to say:
Commenting on it, Gary Hersham, founding director of Beauchamp Estates, which is representing the listing said: “The former Gucci mansion, the brand’s global HQ, is now Mayfair’s finest house currently for sale or let. It is here that Tom Ford and [former CEO] Domenico De Sole entertained Alexander McQueen, Anna Wintour and François Pinault.”

“Immaculately dressed, this turnkey mansion with its two floors of entertainment and leisure facilities is perfect for a family who like Gucci wants a palatial residence in the heart of Mayfair,” he further added. As per records, the property was listed on sale on June 13 and is still up for grabs either for purchase for $66.6 million or to let for $48,129 a week.
