iPhone designer Sir Jonathan Ive purchases a $17 million home on San Francisco’s Gold Coast

When iPhone designer Sir Jonathan Ive came up with his magnificent brainchild, he knew he’d struck gold. After designing one of the world’s most-loved and awed smartphones, Apple’s senior vice president of industrial design spent a good £10million (approximately $17million) on his new San Francisco residence at Gold Coast. Packing six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and located in one of San Francisco’s most day-dreamed about neighborhoods, the home overlooked San Francisco Bay’s Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island and had earlier hit the market with a $25million price tag.
