Spread across 14,260 feet, this $30 million penthouse at the Trump Tower Chicago is the most expensive listed home in the entire state of Illinois.

Next on the block of the most luxurious home in the United States is a penthouse in Chicago’s Trump Tower. It is listed for $30 million and is rightly being touted as the most expensive home currently being listed in the city. The five-bedroom, eight-bathroom penthouse spans across14,260-square-feet and spans an entire private floor with just walls. It contains 19-foot ceilings in its living area, floor-to-ceiling windows, a private access elevator, and a range of other amenities.

The condo also comes with a 14,000-square-foot spa and health club, outdoor space on the building’s 16th floor, and four parking spaces (along with housekeeping services, a bellman, and access to the building’s restaurants). It is yet to be completed fully and offers buyers a chance to customize the space as per their liking.

Commenting on it, listing agent Chezi Rafaeli of Coldwell Banker Realty, in a statement, said, “The views are outstanding. There’s nothing like it… It’s one of the most unique properties in the city of Chicago, and it’s still waiting for someone to finish it.”

Echoing on the same lines, the property’s listing further reads, “Nothing like this has ever been or will ever be on the market again, offering 360-degree views of the city & lake from this brilliant floor plan with endless build-out possibilities!”

The luxe home was previously owned by Sanjay Shah, the CEO of Hoffman Estates-based software maker Vistex, who paid $17 million in cash to buy it in 2014. While he never moved in, he did complete the unit with walls and ceilings.

The Trump Tower penthouse is further said to have drawn a $257,391 property tax bill in the 2020 tax year. And if it fetches anywhere close to its asking price, it can very well set a condo sales record like no other! Fancy buying this luxe home?
