The Beverly Hills’ Fine Arts Theater is up for sale

The old world theatre in up-town Beverly Hills is now up for sale for $4 million and we’re looking at classy buyers. The Beverly Hills Fine Arts Theater, which opened in 1937, is presently owned by Indian conglomerate Spice Global, but fact has it that this 6,862-square-foot historic movie has been closed ever since it was bought in 2010. Intended as a 430-seat, single-screen theater into a triplex art house that would only showcase Bollywood films, the project failed to receive a formal approval from the Beverly Hills City Council.
