The real market is all set to witness another record setting sale as the world’s largest penthouse readies for sale. The Wall Street Journal’s Developments blog reports that the penthouse unit of the 14-story Genesis Puntarenas in Costa Rica which is not even built yet, will have an asking price of $50 million! The developers have touted the penthouse unit to be the largest globally, spreading over 68,459-square-foot and offering beautiful views of the ocean. Renderings of this yet-to-be-built oceanfront pad show a building with a fitness center, pool with a swim-up bar, restaurant, and business center. The three-story penthouse will boast of ten bedrooms, a rooftop pool, tennis court, private helipad, and floor-to-ceiling retractable glass walls. Reportedly, the yet-to-be-built penthouse has already generated interest from a Chinese family and a bachelor from Russia.
The building located in the Pacific Coast city of Puntarenas is expected to be ready in two years. Other units in this high-end building are expected to retail from $473,000 to $3.3 million.
