It’s time for Mercedes-Benz to bring out another variant of the SLS AMG; the 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster. However, lovers of the gullwing doors and fixed roof will be disappointed, as the latest 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster has done away with these to make room for traditional entry-ports and a folding cloth softtop.
Still in the testing stages, the car is touted to be unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. The drop-top SLS car will be set in an aluminum spaceframe and a cross-member support for the dashboard with added bracing at the window frame and transmission tunnel.
