Aston Martin is launching a very special edition V8 Vantage S, exclusively for Continental Europe; the car is inspired by the brand’s success on the race track. Specifically, its activities in the GT4 racing series. The special edition model has been named the Vantage SP10; it has a 436 PS and a top speed of 305 km/h. The resemblance between road models and their racing car counterparts is extremely similar, making the bespoke specifications on the SP10 stand out in a crowd. The 2013 Aston Martin Vantage SP10 will, for the first time, feature a manual six-speed transmission that will allow you to feel the power of a racecar. Engineered in the image of GT4 racers, the SP10 has true Motorsport flair. The V8 Vantage S has always been a popular model amongst Aston Martin customers.
Customers can alternatively choose the optional Sport shift II automated manual seven speed transmission, this will allow for gear changes that are 20% quicker than any other; which of course leads to faster acceleration.
