2013 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe will hit the US shore by summer of 2012

Taking a serious note of the completion around, the German BMW automaker has decided to raise the bar with a brand new 6 Series coupe called the 2013 6 Series Gran Coupe. Powered with an N55 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine and a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine coming soon in the offing, the car will feature BMW’s ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission. On the N55, the car can hit 0 to 62 mph (0-100km/h) in 5.4 seconds with top speeds of 155 mph. On the V8, it can go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.5 seconds. The car will feature a 4+1 seating configuration and many technological advancements, including optional extra powerful white light Adaptive LED Headlights.

Other notable features on the car include the BMW ConnectedDrive driver assistance systems and mobility services, a rear-view camera, Surround View, Parking Assistant, BMW Night Vision with pedestrian recognition, Lane Departure Warning System, and Active Blind Spot Detection all connected to the awesome new BMW Head-Up-Display. The car will also feature the standard BMW iDrive control system for navigation, communications, and infotainment functions. Just opt for the Bang & Olufsen High-End Surround Sound System, and by summer 2012, you have quite a package to ride!
