Jaguar will be bringing back some of the glory days of their illustrious history with the introduction of the Continuation series of cars. Their latest announcement tells of the Classic XKSS Continuation series that will take place in California this November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
To keep in line with the historic significance of the model, there will be nine examples of the car, which will be produced to commemorate the loss of nine original models in a Browns Lane factory fire, back in 1957. If you’re getting excited about this tidbit then relax because all nine examples of the car have already been sold and will be made available to owners by early 2017.
Another interesting debut was made by the Jaguar E-Type with the chassis number 15. This lightweight speedster will be one of the six continuation models and shall take to the racetrack to relive its days. The lightweight version of this car first showed up in 2015.
Speaking about the releases, Tim Hannig, Director of JLR Classic said, “the continuation XKSS reaffirms our commitment to nurture the passion and enthusiasm for jaguar’s illustrious past by offering exceptional cars, services, parts and experiences”.
