A supercar of the high seas – Take a look inside this 49.8-meter all-aluminum superyacht project: Altea


Now may not be the best time to remind you of sailing on a luxury yacht. However, Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts has made it impossible for us not to ogle at its latest beauty – a 49.8-meter all-aluminum superyacht project: Altea.


Scheduled for delivery in the spring of 2021, the luxury vessel boasts an exterior by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects with huge glazed areas and reversed stern with spray rails.


On the inside, the mega-yacht is a class apart. It boasts of over 6 beautifully appointed staterooms for up to 12 guests with elegantly done up interiors (including textured leathers and custom carpets by Luxury Pride alongside premium furnishings made from silk, velvet and leather trims), courtesy – Cristiano Gatto.

The yacht further features five crew cabins for up to nine members along with plenty of common space for relaxing and socialization.


Built on the design and engineering platform of Nova Plus, the aluminum vessel is below 500GT. It boasts two MTU 12V 2000 M72 Diesel engines of 1,080 kW each and can reach a top speed of 19.5 knots with a range of 3,750 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots.
