Long after the brand died a silent death, Mercury cars still can make heads roll. However, they still need to look for other popular luxury models to sustain their existence. Let me explain. Mike Duff from Palm Bay, Florida, has designed a 2002 Mercury Cougar “into the image of a Bugatti Veyron.” The project, which took nine months to complete, is crafted using stitched fiberglass and composites on a steel tube frame for the body and houses a 2.5-liter V6 under the hood.
The car can seat four passengers quite comfortable and is priced at $89,000. The car is available on eBay Motors till the 29th of July only.
