The latest ride from Abarth is the 695 Maserati Edition running on similar lines of that of the Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati that debuted at the Geneva Motor Show 2012. The special edition model has a 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine and has advantages such as larger Brembo brakes, Koni shock absorbers, and a variable back-pressure ‘dual mode’ exhaust. Abarth 695 Maserati Edition, which happens to be the limited-production version of the 500C, is done in Pontevecchio Bordeaux color (same as the previous version). At the same time, the electrically controlled soft top features a grey fabric. The car sits on 17-inch Maserati-inspired Neptune design alloy wheels, with high-performance tires encased in it.
The Abarth 695 Maserati Edition features special sport seats upholstered in sand beige leather with headrests sporting a 695 logo embossed on the headrests. The steering wheel is wrapped in black leather with beige leather inserts, the dashboard gets a special matt-finish carbon lining and the gearbox elements by Jaeger brand. The Abarth 695 Maserati Edition is set to be released in the UK by the end of the year at a cost price of £32,000 ($50,000)
