Aston Martin debuts Rapide S, Centenary Edition Vanquish and new bespoke Q models at Geneva

Aston Martin celebrated their 100th birthday in Geneva with the global debut of the Rapide S, the Centenary Edition Vanquish and the new Q by Aston Martin models. The 83rd Geneva International Motor Show was the perfect platform for the launch of a new century in Aston Martin’s illustrious career. The Rapide S was definitely the center of attention as the new sympathetically redesigned and re engineered to seal its position as the most beautifully balanced four-seat sports car. The exterior of the Rapide S is adorned with a striking new full grille, a pronounced boot lid ‘flip’ and an overall more aerodynamic design.

The power under the hood is in the form of an AM11 naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 powerplant that delivers 558 PS at 6,750 rpm. The new model shaved time off its 0-62 mph time to provide the driver with an impressive 4.9 seconds. A top speed of 190 mph makes the car truly irresistible to driving enthusiasts. Three different driving modes in the form of normal, sport and track make the Rapide S a versatile drive.

The Centenary Edition Vanquish, Vantage, DB9 and Rapide S are all visual masterpieces with their graduated paint finish, sterling silver Aston Martin Wings that feature trans flux enamel and special Aston Martin hallmark. CEO Dr.Ulrich Bez was a key player in the designing of the graduated paint finish, ensuring that the colors mold into each other rather than making the car look like it has a split personality. Deep soft black leather, contrasting silver stitching and sterling silver sill plaques complete these exclusive luxury centenary edition models. The cars come with a presentation box that includes two glass keys; two bespoke key pouches, solid silver cufflinks, a solid silver roller ball pen and Bang & Olufsen headphones.
