Bentley Flying Spur adopts a sinister-looking dark theme in the new Dark Edition

Bentley has introduced a variant of its Flying Spur model called the Black Edition. Based on the British automaker’s Flying Spur V8 S model, the Black Edition boasts new, unique styling tweaks and has been commissioned by Mulliner – Bentley’s bespoke customization division. Rivaling the Rolls-Royce Black Badge models, the limited edition Bentley gets new black styling touches on both the exterior bodywork and in the cabin in an attempt to attract younger buyers. As far as the special treatments received on the exterior, it gets dark tint headlights and taillights, black bezels, and black gloss finish on the radiator, window surrounds, headlight washer caps, and door handle inserts. A specially designed 21-inch seven-spoke Elegant wheels in gloss black finish add to the sinister looks of the special edition.

On the inside, the cabin features piano black lacquer trim, the Sport Plus steering wheel, and two-tone leather. At customers’ request, Bentley offers its usual interior material and color selections. The Black Edition is also available with the optional Mulliner Driving Specification. The higher-spec version adds diamond-quilted leather with contrasting stitching and 21-inch five-spoke wheels in either gloss black or dark tint finishes. Mechanically, the special edition is same as the standard Flying Spur V8 S model and comes with the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, sending 521 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels.
