Bentley Flying Spur V8 S Stratus Edition by Mulliner launched exclusively for Japan

Bentley has announced a special edition version of its Flying Spur V8 S super-saloon reserved exclusively for Japan. Called the ‘Stratus Edition,’ the limited edition model has been customized by the British automaker’s in-house personalization department Mulliner. As the name suggests, the Stratus Edition draws its inspiration from stratus clouds and is available in ONYX (black) and Glacier White colors. The special treatment on the exterior includes special 21-inch tinted wheels, brake calipers in red and special badges of tinted Union Jack and Mulliner on the bodywork.

On the inside, the cabin is wrapped in hand-stitched black and grey leather with purple or grey and white accents to match the color of the exterior. The center console is bathed in carbon fiber with titanium inlays to give the cabin a sporty feel. Mechanically, the car is identical to the standard Flying Spur V8 S that has a 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 making 521 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque. Only 20 examples of the Stratus Edition will be sold with a price tag of 23.5 million yen (roughly $210,000 USD) apiece.
