Bespoke at its best – Rolls Royce unveils three custom Dawns

Last weekend, Rolls Royce stole the spotlight by revealing three of the most highly customized Bespoke Rolls-Royce Dawn motor cars crafted to date. Commissioned by collectors who are used to the very best, these cars represent the best of everything that Rolls Royce has to offer including the best luxury, design and of course, brand value.

Michale Fux Dawn
This Dawn, which is named after the collector who bought it, is the 10th Rolls Royce for Fux. The blue and white Dawn Drophead has a bespoke color on the exterior called Fux blue (we’re sensing a naming trend here) and luxe interiors in Arctic white. More Arctic White leather surrounds the compartment and adorns Dawn’s rear deck in cool contrast to the Fux Blue Bespoke lambswool carpet. Rolls Royce credits Mr. Fux with introducing innovative color and design to Rolls Royce. This Dawn will join his private collection of more than 150 beautiful motor cars. The beautiful car was unveiled at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.

Nautical Dawn
We may not know the identity of the owner of the nautical themed Dawn, but we can say she has great taste! The South Florida based client worked with interior designer Barclay Butera to create a unique nautical theme for her Bespoke Dawn to complement the style of her Oceanside residence. The car’s Midnight Sapphire Bonnet and Arctic White body are inspired by the blue and white colors of sailing yachts and the ocean. The interior features Arctic White leather offset by Navy Blue highlights, including a custom hand-wrapped Navy Blue steering wheel and hallmark Rolls-Royce lambswool and carpets. Nautical touches abound in the car the Open Pore Teak Canadel Panelling throughout the interior, a rear compartment Teak Waterfall Piece and an iconic Rolls-Royce Teak Deck. The car also features a hand-crafted Bespoke Clock inspired by the classic “Rolex Yachtmaster” design. Even the tread-plate is custom made with the name “Dawn” spelled out in nautical flags to commemorate its delivery at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

“Homage to Silver Ghost” Dawn
The final car in the trio of Dawns belongs to collector Don Brinkerhoff who commissioned it as a homage to the AX201, the 1907 Silver Ghost, a car heralded as “The Best Motorcar in the World.” The exterior boasts a custom color called Matte Cassiopeia Silver. A custom Silver Spirit of Ecstasy inlay adorns the Piano Black Bespoke facia while the interior boasts the rich color combination of pine green with black accents. The car’s treadplate bears a special message:

Homage to AX201 the 1907 Ghost

The Best Motorcar in the World

Specially Commissioned for Don Brinkerhoff
