British Airways offers a plane crash survival course to its executive frequent flyers

For the members of the mile-high club, there is good news from British Airways. For a small fee of £125 ($200), members of the British Airways Executive Club will be able to undergo an intensive day-long course on surviving a plane crash. The frequent flyers members can also trade in their points for a spot in the crash survival course. The Flight Safety Awareness Course includes simulated emergency landing and evacuation of the Boeing 737 cabin simulator, safety advice, and techniques for decompression, landing on water, emergency landing, and aircraft evacuation slide descents from Airbus A320. Additionally, passengers will be trained to exit from a smoke-filled environment and practical door and overwing exit operations. The course, for now, is only available to passengers in the UK.
