Caillou boats – Modern day canoes for a smooth sail

The Caillou boats are inspired by the classic canoes from the 1800s but constructed with modern-day engineering. The boat could be used as a small sailboat in conjunction with the capability of a kayak. These boats are lightweight, durable, stylish, and functional to be maneuvered across the river. You could choose from three models, the Okume with a mahogany deck and fiberglass hull; the Glass, made from polyester resin and biaxial E glass featuring solid mahogany trimmings; and the Teak, crafted from solid teak with hand-oiled or natural finish.

The Okume is priced at $10,500, the Glass for $7,500 and the Teak retails for $12,800. The accessories included are cane backed chairs ($155), a fishing rod holder ($125), Greenland styled kayak paddles ($200) and a Sail rig ($850) so you could just recline and let the nature do its thing.
