Unlike other tuners, Dartz seems to love doing up SUVs. This time around, they have set their sights of a vehicle, called the Nagel Dakkar. Defining the vehicle as B.N.U.D.S. (described by the company as Bespoke Noble Urban Desert Safety) the car is said to be named after Andrew Nagel, a Russian driver who won the 1912 Monte Carlo rally.
The vehicle has been designed by German designer Pochwatta, with help from designer Alex Isaev. Powered by a Mercedes-Benz 5.5-liter bi-turbo V8 engine, the customizable car will feature carbon Kevlar and a titanium tube frame chassis. Priced between $390,000 and $486,000, the limited edition of ten cars will see light of day in 2013, with another 20 units rolling out in 2014. The company subsequently aims at releasing 40 units per year in the three years after that.
