Designer Adriano Raeli unleashes the Ferrari F80 concept with a top speed of 500 km/h

Remember the futuristic sports cars from the Speed Racer cartoon? Well, Italian designer Adriano Raeli recently took one of those concepts, blended it with a dollop of Ferrari goodness, and unleashed this monstrous concept car, that will make Batman want to ditch the color black for a shade of red! Called the Ferrari F80, this concept car has all the muscular bulges you’d expect from a hypercar, with an extremely unconventional design. The car’s inspiration comes from the Next Generation Air Dominance program (NGAD) and fighter jets. To us, the car looks more like an art-installation than a road-legal hypercar.

Under the hood, this concept supposedly packs a 6.3-liter V12 engine with 740 hp. The Formula 1 KERS system added to the F80 increases its power to 900PS. This pushes the car to the 100 km/h in only 2.2 seconds! With a top speed of 500 km/h, the F80 is designed to make Bugatti owners stare in awe as it zips by. As we’ve mentioned before however, the F80 by Adriano Raeli is only a concept and will remain so. We’d love to see Ferrari breathe life into this one though, and give the designers at Lamborghini much to worry about.
