Those attending an event as elite as the New York Fashion week must arrive at it in style! Ensuring just this, Lexus will once again partner with NYFW: The Shows and MADE New York as their official automotive partner. Debuting the new #HowFashionTravels campaign, the auto brand will provide a range of eccentrically designed cars for the leading industry attendees’ commute to the fashion venue.
In an honest endeavor to support the fashion industry, each of the Lexus courtesy vehicles will be seen in design wraps showing prints directly loaned off the runway. Following last year’s stint which saw the Lexus RX wrapped in prints from designer Jeremy Scott’s collection, this year the brand will boost fresh fashion by collaborating with MADE designers – Adam Selman, The Blonds, Brock Collection, and 69 who will tastefully design the exteriors of its 21 vehicles fleet. (Though 90 vehicles in total will be available for transportation.) Altering from automobile, Lexus for the 8th time will also launch the exclusive backstage Lexus lounge at MADE fashion week which promises an intimate retreat for VIP guests and designers alike. Like its vehicles, the luxury lounge will also showcase the brand’s aesthetics by incorporating materials used in its car designs.
Lexus has always shown a deep interest in collaborating with the fashion industry. Recently the brand joined hands with Malaysian fashion designer Zang Toi for designing an all-new wardrobe for the brands auto show product specialists. Further, it will also partner with Alexander Wang on September 10th and honor its commitment to CFDA + Lexus Fashion Initiative participant Zero + Maria Cornejo by endorsing the label’s runway show. Rest assured, with the #HowFashionTravels campaign, Lexus certainly promises a very stylish extension of the NYFW for the streets!
