Dodge Unveils Demon Concept

Drive the Demon! Dodge Demon Concept is yet another open top roadster in the DaimlerChrysler family with an obvious aggressive nose. Principle designer Jae Chung says that “while the iconic Dodge Viper is a dream car for many, the Dodge Demon is designed to be an attainable dream car.” This “roadster with an attitude” is a perfect balance of classic sports car proportion and simplicity blended with modern design and performance. It does use one of DCX’s existing engines – the 2.4L four-cylinder World Engine that sends 172 horsepower and 165 ft-lbs. of torque to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.

The officials say an SRT version could also be offered with a 300 horsepower four-cylinder from the Dodge Caliber SRT-4. Wonder how much this ‘affordable’ dream car is gonna be tagged at!
