Hold your horses for a little while longer, Mercedes Benz is coming out with three new cars in the sedan league. The models will range from the basic C180 Kompressor to the 450 horsepower C 63 AMG. The updated designs are a crossover from the new S-Class sedan and R-Class cars. The highlight is the Agility Control system, which lets the shock absorber adjust to the driving situation, plus a steering ratio of 14.5 and a short travel gearshift. The front-end structure of the new C-Class has four independently acting impact levels, which enable forces to be distributed over a wide area while bypassing the passenger cell. Thus offering greater safety. The C 230 offers a 204 horsepower V6, and the C 280 delivers 231 hp. The showstopper C 350 has 272 horsepower. All three models have a choice of six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission. More info about the AMG-spec C 63 will be out in the coming months.
