Let’s face it; Ferraris have never really been family cars. This is probably because the Italian supercar maker has never found it necessary to have more than two seats in its cars before. Things are about to change, with the Ferrari GTC4Lusso. While the car is nothing more but the reworked Ferrari FF, the GTC4Lusso does seem a lot more promising than its dull predecessor. With a 6.3-liter V-12 engine producing 680hp, this Ferrari touches the 100km/h mark in just 3.4 seconds. Now we aren’t sure how many people would want to sprint that hard with their family in tow, but the performance certainly is commendable.
The car has an all-wheel drive system as well as rear-wheel steering. With this, handling the new Ferrari GTC4Lusso is a breeze. Inside, this Ferrari packs a swanky new infotainment system with a 10.2-inch touch screen integrated in the console. The primary instrument cluster has been modernized, while Ferrari has also included a secondary cluster for the passenger to keep an eye on crucial driving information like the car’s speed. The 2017 Ferrari GTC4Lusso will go on sale in time for the 2017 model year. The car is expected to show up with a base price of $300,000.
