HondaJet – Honda’s first private jet for $4.5 million all set to soar in 2012

Carrying a price tag of $4.5 million (€3.46 million), Honda’s first private jet, HondaJet, will hit the skies in 2012. This is the company’s first step in the aviation sector. Keeping true to their reputation of being the pioneers in advanced technology, Honda fitted the engines above the wing, reducing drag and noise. This, in turn, will add too much fuel efficiency and space in the aircraft cabin. It will also feature a composite fuselage, both lighter and stronger than the traditional alloys used for the main section of the aircraft. Luxury in this aircraft will be defined by leather interiors, “exceptional legroom,” and “unique lavatory features” in chrome and blue.
