It’s time for Hyundai Motors to take the luxury route, but they aren’t doing it alone. Taking help from luxury brand Prada, they will soon upgrade the interior of their Genesis luxury sedan. As per the reports from Automaker, the premium version of the sedan will be spot Saffiano leather interiors, which also make Prada bags so desirable. The leatherwork will also include handles, seats, and door trims.
The simplistically designed car will feature a colored matte dark silver radiator grille and a 5-liter GDI engine, similar to the luxurious 2012 Equus from Hyundai’s stable. Limited to 1,200 units, the ‘made-by-order’ system will be priced between W80 million ($74,000) and W100 million ($92,500). The project is Prada’s first collaboration with an automaker.
