Longer than a football field Microsoft co founder’s ultra-luxurious mega yacht is on sale for $325 million

If you have a penchant for the luxury life and a likeness for yachts, here’s a crackling deal just for you! Microsoft head honcho- Paul Allen’s exclusive 414-foot yacht is now up for grabs, a deal that not many connoisseurs will be able to resist! The lofty vessel is currently selling with Burgess and Fraser for a cool $325 million (€295 million) and could soon be yours if you have the commanding moolah to spare.

Christened ‘Octopus’, the vessel measures a staggering 414 feet and is comprised of eight expansive decks, much like the sprawling tentacles of the sea creature that inspires its name. It is designed jointly by naval starchitect Espen Oino and Jonathan Quinn Barnett and can accommodate up to 26 guests in 13 cabins, as well as a 60-member crew. The luxurious yacht further boasts an impressive range of 12,500 nautical miles when sailing at 12 knots and a pair of hybrid ABB Industry AG E-Motors that give it an enviable thrust.

Much as expected, the Octopus comes with several amenities, namely- helipads and hangar space for two helicopters, a cinema, basketball court, beach club, jacuzzi, expansive pool, library, gym, upscale galley with pizza oven, an onboard recording studio and a glass-bottomed observation lounge where guests can catch stunning views of aquatic wonders. There’s also a dive center and hyperbaric chamber on board, along with a beach club and bar on the yacht’s starboard side. Well, life on the waters can’t get any better than this!
