Japan seems to be getting the royal pampered treatment by Mercedes Benz as it is releasing a Japan special edition of G class four-wheel-drive model –G 550 Night Edition. The German car brand’s love for the island does not start here as they have already rolled out special edition C63 AMG and red and white edition of the C63 AMG earlier. The G550 Night Edition, based on an existing G 550 model, is going to sell just 100 cars. The car features 18-inch twin 5-spoke alloy wheels, and AMG is found over the fender. The night beauty has a combination of 7-speed AT 5.5-liter V-8 engine cylinder DOHC and powertrain four-wheel drive.
Coming to the style of the car, the body is colored in Obsidian Black. Standing contrast to the exterior is the interiors, which the customer can choose to dress in a classic red or porcelain white designo leather upholstery.
The company plans to exhibit the G 550 Night Edition in Mercedes Benz Connection in Roppongi starting 22 April 2013. The car comes with a price tag of 13,900,000 yen ($1 41,403).
