Remember the time Caterpillar introduced a smartphone of their own and all the loyalists and fans of the brand absolutely loved the idea? The company leveraged the expertise of the Bullitt Group who also worked on a JCB smartphone. The same company is now commissioned to bring the first Land Rover phone into existence. JLR will also have a range of accessories that will accompany the phone. Historically, the brand has only been associated with Sonim-made phones such as the S1, S2 and A9 that were all tough and durable. We could well expect Bullitt to make a similarly rugged phone but with a few more advanced features in tow.
JLR has gone leaps in ensuring that their cars are designed to work seamlessly with smart devices. The InControl Touch Pro infotainment system has gained popularity with the company promising that it is working on integrating more apps.
Jaguar, very recently, ventured into the wearables category with the F-Pace wrist band. This water-resistant device is great for the adventurous kind who love stepping out of their car without carrying their keys with them. We hope that the Bullitt phone will arrive with equally enchanting accessories when it arrives early 2017.
