2012 is a year of celebrations for the famed Range Rover as the car brand turns 10 years old. To mark this great moment, Range Rover has launched not one but three special edition models. The new Range Rover models are christened the TDV8 Westminster, TDV8 Autobiography, and the Supercharged Autobiography.
The Range Rover TDV8 Westminster joins the league of new Range Rovers set to replace the TDV8 Vogue and Vogue SE models. Powered by a 4.4 liter TDV8 engine linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission, the TDV8 Westminster bowls you over with both its stunning exteriors and equally attractive interiors. Boasting of a bright ‘Noble’ finish to the front grille and side vents, ‘Titan’ silver lower splitter bar and fog lamp bezels, along with 20 inches, ten-spoke alloy wheels, and exquisite ‘Westminster’ badging, the Westminister is a beauty to behold. On the inside, the car reveals illuminated treadplates and a cabin finished that screams for attention with its luxury carpets and Grand Black lacquer trim elements. The bright-finished pedal finishers are just yet another attraction of this stunning beauty on wheels. Rating high on the entertainment factor as well, the car features a 19 speaker, 1,200W Harman/Kardon LOGIC7 surround sound system, along with Range Rover’s Dual View infotainment screen. Other features include an electric sunroof, automatic headlights, windscreen wipers, Park Distance Control with rear-view camera, memory setting for the steering wheel, driver’s seat and rear-view mirror, and a heated, leather-trimmed steering wheel. The special edition Westminster is available in a choice of seven exterior colors and five interior colors.
The Range Rover TDV8 Autobiography and Supercharged Autobiography all scream nothing but luxury. Looking stunning courtesy of the Range Rover Design Pack, which includes front and rear bumpers, ‘Titan’ silver front grille and side vent treatments and fog lamp surrounds, integrated stainless steel exhaust finishers side skirt. And the crowning jewel, 20-inch alloy wheels in Shadow Chrome, adds the perfect finishing touches to these two beauties. The interiors feature the Range Rover Seat Style Pack, including rear seats with recline and lumbar adjustment, heating and cooling functions, etc. Both models are equipped with 19 speakers, a 1,200W Harman/Kardon LOGIC7 surround sound system, and fitted with illuminated treadplates. The TDV8 Autobiography is powered by the 4.4-liter engine and eight-speed automatic transmission, while the 5.0 liter V8 petro engine powers the Supercharged Autobiography.
All three models are expected to hit the markets by March. The TDV8 Westminster Edition is £ 69,995 ($110,775). TDV8 Autobiography and Supercharged Autobiography are £84,295 ($133,406) and £86,895 ($137,540) respectively.
