The 2013 Hennessey Venom GT Spyder which American Idol judge and Aerosmith star, Steven Tyler had ordered last month for a custom built from Hennessey Performance last month, is finally ready to roll. The Hennessey team was recently seen dyno testing the car in Sealy, Texas. The car touted to be $1.1 million is built off a modified Lotus Elise/Exige chassis and runs on a General Motors 6.2 liter twin-turbocharged sequential Multi-Port Electronic Fuel Injection V8 engine. The top speed for the car is 260 mph and it will sprint from 0-60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, and 0-200 in 15.3 seconds.
The Hennessey Venom GT Spyder jumps to a 1,155 lb of torque when set at 1,200 horsepower and it has additional two setting options of 800 hp and 1,000 hp. The car weighs about 2,685 lbs and has a carbon fiber composite body.
