Folks at Terrafugia developed their concept vehicle of roadable aircraft-The Transition that will be launched by late2009. It will drive like a car on the ground and be controlled like a normal small airplane in the air. As it is light weighted, tightly controlled Transition is aerodynamically stable on the ground as well as in the air. The employees at Terrafugia spent sleepless nights to complete this project as their concept vehicle had to be displayed AirVenture—the world’s largest aviation festival, held annually in Oshkosh.
Terrafugia Transition will be available for price of $148,000 with a speed 115mph, range 460 miles, gas consumption 23 mpg, reverse gear, two seats and ethanol capable.
